Hi Dave: I guess you were trying in the central net. the NCS in the eastern 
portion was only running a 32v. It is not the power it is the antenna.   I 
doubt if you heard more than one or two KW1s, if even that. And yes I 
usually check in with non Collins gear unless a Collins design 390A counts. 
But, I also have a 75A2, 20 V2, KWS1 and I am the original owner of a 75A4. 
Come on down to the lower end, I will be on tonight, probably from dark to 
10 PM EDT 3705 plus or minus 10 depending on usage.   Bernie W8RPW
