Yes, it would be quite cool to be able to open up the band with such
an antenna as that.

I remember many times when Bill, ZL2BE, was the only audible signal on
10 meters at my Mississippi qth with his 10 watts of AM to a rhombic.

I later worked him a few times on SSB, but never on AM. He was always 
the first and
last ZL that I would hear on 10 meters, thanks to his great antenna.

Me, I get excited over 3 elements, sometimes fewer.
