Miscellaneous Items For Sale:
Power Supplies, Speakers, Headphones, 440 MHz
transceiver, 2 meter transceiver, Lightning
Arrestors, Wattmeters, Linear Amp Switching
Cable, and many other miscellaneous things:
TenTec 260 Power Supply:
The TenTec Model 260 power supply came in two versions -- one
matches the Corsair I dark gray color. This is the later
version which is the lighter gray/tan color that matches
the Corsair II, Paragon, Omni VI, and others.
The supply has an 8 ohm speaker, and will power most any HF rig.
This particular unit works 100%, and looks close to the same.
I can find one very small scratch on the right side that one
can only see if the light is right. Otherwise it looks perfect.
Paper work is included for $150.
Yaesu "Landliner" SP-101 P Speaker and Phone Patch:
This is a nice speaker that has a phone patch added
to it. Its styling matches the FT-101 line, but it looks
nice with most any rig. It has a VU meter on it, as well
as controls for both transmit and receive gain.
I realize many people do not use a phone patch much any
more, but even if you do not use the phone patch portion,
you still have an excellent speaker.
This particular unit works fine, and looks extremely nice
as well. It is in its original box.
With paper work for $90.
Communications Speakers:
All have 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) mono plugs.
Realistic 40-1280
About 4 inch cube, this wood grain speaker is rated for up
to 7 watts, and has a 8 ohm impedance. It works fine,
sounds good, and looks nice. $18
Realistic 21-549 A
This one is about 4 inches square but only about 2 inches
deep. It is rated for 5 watts, has an 8 ohm impedance, and
is listed as a 300 to 3000 Hz frequency response, making it
ideal for communications. It is black in color, looks great,
and sounds great. $18
General Electric
This speaker is about 6 by 4 inches, and about 3 inches deep.
It is black with a gimbal mount. 4 ohm impedance. $15
Cariole Headphones:
This is a nice pair of headphones of the type that
completely cover your ear. These are true monophonic
headphones, and not a pair of stereo headphones that
have been converted to mono. They have a molded mono
1/4 inch plug on them.
These work fine, and look extremely nice. $20
Yaesu FT-720, UHF 440 MHz FM Transceiver:
The FT-720 is a synthesized rig covering 440 to 450 MHz FM.
It has about 10 watts out, with a good receiver. It is
especially immune to intermod. This unit is built like a
tank. Of course it has memories, memory scan, etc. The
mic has up/down buttons.
The FT-720 came in several configurations. A VHF (2 meter)
version, a UHF (440 MHz) version, and a dual band version
that used the first two units, plus a switch box. This is
the UHF unit only.
The rig includes a connector for PL subaudible tones. This
unit has a Comm Specs SS-32 attached to it, with the DIP
switches replaced with toggle switches, so that the tone
can be set, and changed easily.
This one works fine, and looks great. It includes the
chrome bail and paper work for $100.
Yaesu FT-227 RA "Memorizer" 2 meter FM transceiver:
The FT-227 is an FM rig with about 12 watts output (1.5 W
in low power) covering the entire 2 meter band. This is
the "A" model that has four memories. It has provisions
for installing a CTCSS subaudible tone module.
This rig was used on packet, and will make an excellent
APRS or packet rig. It works fine and looks fine. Since
it was used on packet, there is no microphone included,
but it does include power cord and paper work for $40
Linear Amp Switching Cable for Kenwood Rigs:
This cable goes from a Kenwood transceiver to a
linear amplifier to switch the amp from transmit
to receive.
One end has a DIN connector, as is used with most
Kenwood rigs. The other end has an RCA phono plug,
as used by most linear amplifiers.
Before using this cable, please check the switching
capabilities of your transceiver.
This cable has one coax for switching the T/R relay. $15
Coaxial Lightning Arrestors:
These lightning arrestors are made to be inserted in to
your coaxial feedline, to help reduce lightning damage.
Cushcraft LAC-1
No markings on this to confirm the model number, but it
looks like the Cushcraft "Blitz Bug".
It has an SO-239 on one end and a PL-259 on the other end
(female UHF on one end and male on the other). $10
HF and VHF SWR Bridge:
Royce 2-100 Single Meter SWR Bridge / Field Strength Meter
This unit covers from 3 to 150 MHz, covering HF,
6 meters,and 2 meters. SO-239 connectors in and out.
This one works fine, and looks extremely nice. I do not see
any scratches on it, but it does have a previous owner's
name on it.
In its original box with original instructions. $25
Heath HM-2141 Dual Meter VHF Wattmeter / SWR Bridge:
The HM-2141 is the VHF version of the more popular
HM-2140 wattmeter and SWR Bridge, and has the same
features, except it covers from 50 to 175 MHz.
This is the wattmeter that has two meters on it, so it
reads both forward and reflected power at the same time.
It also has a "Peak" position, so it can capture the peak
power, in essence reading PEP output. Forward scales
are 30 or 300 Watts, and reverse are 10 W or 100 W,
plus SWR scale. It covers 50 to 175 MHz. It needs a 9
volt battery for "peak" operation. It has a remote
sensor with about 3 feet of cable.
This particular meter works 100%. The outer case (top
and sides) has been repainted black hammertone, and
looks very nice.
With paper work for $100.
Small Wattmeter:
This wattmeter is made by Gold Line, and is designed for
27 MHz. It reads 5 watts full scale. It is small --
only about 3 x 2 x 2 inches, with SO-239 connectors on
each end.
This one works, but I can not vouch for its accuracy
on all frequencies. I would think it should be fine
for 10 or 12 meters, if not more. It looks fine. $8
Icom HM-4 Hand Microphone:
The Icom HM-4 is a 600 ohm dynamic hand microphone that can
be used on most rigs requiring a low Z mic. It is a dark
gray color, with "Icom" on the front.
This one works fine, and looks great. It has stripped
and tinned ends, so that any connector can easily be added.
$22
20 meter trap:
This is an LC "Trap" to eliminate 20 meter interference.
Nominal frequency is 14.250 MHz, but it has a variable
capacitor to adjust it for best signal rejection. It
is in a minibox about 5 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, with
an SO-239 connector on each end. It looks as if it
would handle 100 watts, but not a linear amplifier.
A note on it says "14.250 MHz Trap. Use on 10 m and 15 m"
$10
"Y" Cable for AEA PK-232 Digital Controller
This is the cable that came with the original PK-232's.
One end plugs into the serial port of your computer.
There are two other connectors at the opposite end.
One goes to the PK-232, and the other has a connector
for a parallel printer.
This cable is like new. $20
AEA AC-1
This unit supply 12 V DC at up to 1 amp.
It can be used with the AEA PK-232, PK-88 or others.
It has a 2.1 mm coaxial power plug, with the center
positive, so it can be used on many different
things that require about 12 V DC at up to an amp,
such as keyers, antenna tuners, etc. $14
Low Pass TVI Filters:
A low pass TVI filter is added to the transmitter to reduce
harmonic interference. All have SO-239 connectors, and are 50
ohm filters.
This first one works on 6 meters as well as HF:
Drake TV-1000-LP Low pass TVI filter
This is the filter that may also be used on the low end of six
meters, as well as HF. It is good for 1000 W "average" below 30
MHz, and about 200 W up to 52 MHz. With paper work for $30.
Drake TV-1000
LP Filter as above, which functions fine electrically, but looks
ugly. With paper work. $25
Others for HF:
B & W FL-10/1500
This filter cuts off just above 10 meters, and handles 1500
Watts. It is the latest model B&W filter.
In very nice condition, it looks very close to new. $40.
Johnson 250-20 Low Pass Filter
This is a 52 ohm cylindrical low pass filter with a cut
off frequency of 45 MHz and 75 db of attenuation.
It is rated to take 1000 Watts of AM, or 5000 Watts
PEP SSB. With mounting bracket. $30
Para Dynamics PDC 1089
This filter is rated at a full Kilowatt, up to 30 MHz.
5 x 6 x 2 inch black box, instead of the more familiar long
enclosure. It looks like new. $25
Bencher YA-1, high power, low pass TVI filter
If you need a more heavy duty filter for the output of
your amplifier, this one is ideal. It will take full legal
power plus, and has at least 80 db signal attenuation at
TV channel 2.This one works great, and looks close to new.
Bencher currently sells these for about $90. Only $60.
Small Power Supplies:
Radio Shack 22-124 Regulated Power Supply
This supply is regulated and will furnish 13 V DC at up
to 2.5 amps. It is ideal for the lower powered 2 meter
rigs, or to get rid of that huge collection of wall warts.
This one works fine and looks extremely nice.
I do not find a scratch on it. $20
Micronta 22-120 A Regulated power supply:
This supply is rated at 2.5 amps at 13 V DC. It is
well regulated. It has a switch and LED power light
on the front, with a circuit breaker and output terminals
on the back. The case (left and right side and top) is
basically all a heat sink, so it should cool the
regulator well.
This one works fine and looks like new. No scratches. $30
KemTronics Power Supply:
This power supply is in a slopped enclosure that is made
to set your rig on top, at an angle for good viewing and
sound. It is good for about 3 amps, or to put it another
way, would be great for powering 2 meter rigs in the 10
to 15 watt category.
This one is a "Tech Special". It produces no output
voltage. It looks fine, however. $5
