[AMRadio] The Heising system of Amplitude Modulation

A fellow on another list recently restored a Globe Scout, which brought 
this topic to mind, and while I had the link handy, I thought it might 
be a fun diversion for some folks here.

I can't remember exactly where I came by it, but everyone should hear 
radio legend K2ORS (Jean Shepard's) classic program from WOR called "Ham 
Radio".   Ironically, it first aired two days ago this date in 1965,  
and features Shep explaining the impact "the Heising system of Amplitude 
Modulation" had on  his early life (and love life!)   Wonderful stuff!
