A pair of 813s will easly reach the current limit of 1500 watts PEP in plate
modulated service, in fact, they will do that under CCS ratings. read the
tube data sheets, Franks is a good site to bookmark. I hope this does not
start again the argument that as linears they will do 650 watts of carrier
in AB2, and thus the same as an AM linear. The same data sheets will show
that one could expect about the same output under the effeciency modulation
schemes as it takes to light the filament.

Hi, I am curious--what do you do with a pair of 813 to get twice the
current AM limit?
