Good Morning to the list. I am restoring a 1954 Handbook classic (500 watt
Multiband VFO transmitter) that will soon be on the air on AM. As received
the unit while very well built has "ratty" perforated aluminum in the
enclosure. For many years we used Renyolds "Do-it-yourself" metal which was
sold off a rack in every Hardware store in the country. I am unable to find
this and I think they may be gone. Does any one know of a suitable
replacement? The original was 24 gauge metal amd all I am finding is
heavier. I welcome your suggestions. 73
