Anglo gave me my code test in tampa in 1901 and he made me send for 5 or 1o minutes he finally stopped me and told me he just wanted to hear good cw ,boy what an ego boost.wish the f.c.c. had many more like him...he made an impression on then what was a kid.w4bni

Joe,

You are indeed correct!  It was a "brain fart", or memory lapse!

Too many years have passed!

The only parts I got right were Angelo, the Atlanta office, and 1980 to 
1981/2.

He definitely was one very fair man!  He used to visit WB4ATE, (Bob), 
KA4SFV, (Frank now SK), and myself, KA4PBD.  (My original call.)
