[AMRadio] Different bands

Bob down here there is activity on 7.160 in the daytime into the early 
evening, especially on weekends.  Like you I have not heard much on 
7.290-95 for some reason.  There is a guy over in Rio Rancho, NM that is 
active there but I can't hear him at my location.

14.286 is the same here, I gave up tuning up there.  The problem with it 
is the band doesn't lend itself to a round table very well with all the 
SSB ops nearby.  There is some activity on 10 that I hear from time to 
time.

Examples of the operators from the 90s around here is much as you 
describe.  One is building and flying large model planes and another has 
quite a model train layout.  Each has different reasons for doing that 
but the upshot is they aren't on the air any more.  It is sad too 
because they were a lot of fun.
