[AMRadio] Stancor Modulation Transformer Wiring?

Hi !

I'm modifying a Ranger transmitter, and am replacing the existing
modulation transformer with a Stancor A3893. This, along with a
direct-coupled audio driver, running the modulator (using 6DQ5s) in AB2
(with plenty of negative feedback) should result in an excellent sounding
driver for my friend's linear amplifier.

I am not sure of the wiring of the A3893, and can't seem to locate a wiring
diagram. I've traced it out, feeding low voltage into one side and
measuring the output on the other. The turns ratio, full primary to full
secondary is about 1.176:1 . This will work very well, and the modulator
should be able to deliver enough audio to modulate the carrier around 180%
positive. There will be a 3-diode negative peak limiter as part of the
modulator.

Does any one have a diagram for these Stancor transformers, or at least
know which is the "primary" and which is the "secondary"? As long as
either side can withstand unbalanced DC, it really doesn't matter which is
which, but it would be nice to know the "proper" wiring.

Thanks and Regards,

Steve
