I have NOT missed *THE POINT*.

What has been brought into the discussion is a far cry from the RCA 
Broadcast rigs, or the Gates Broadcast rigs.

Neither of which are all solid state, nor cost in the tens of Kilobucks.

Some appear to be missing THE point.  Those rigs you are running, Ed, 
aren't just laying around.

I've been trying for years to get my hands on some of this OLD gear, 
even directly contacting an owner with said gear in his father's garage.
