Are we now supposed to SPEND $$$ to keep up?

What are *WE* talking in USD?

Folks like WB2FCN with a RCA BTA-1M are not the "norm", and he SURE 
didn't spend what this NEW Technology costs.

This is really W-A-Y off an Apache, and trying to get legal limit.  Or 
even a DX-100.
