Did we lose sight of this being a "Hobby"?

So spend HOW MUCH for ONE BAND?

We are NOT Broadcasters.  We are NOT allowed to "Broadcast".  I DO 
*KNOW* some on the list are ALSO involved in the Broadcast realm.  
However, read the next segment.

This gets into the "realm" of getting an entirely different FCC Station 
license, and then you have to generate SPONSORS to pay for it all.

The 500Khz segment under "Study and Test" is highly limited.  It does 
NOT include *simple* voice communications.
