AH yes I miss you and all the "locals" (nearby states) as well!! I really need to get something up in the air for 80... I can do 40 but it's a vertical and you are close in... but ya never know... I'll try to get on more during the day... my work has been throwing back and forth nights and days here until we have more dispatchers trained. BUT the plan is for me to settle into dayshift permanently when we are all caught up SO I will be on dayshift meaning I will have much more DAYTIME radio activity!

 That was a bit offtopic but to throw something on topic... 15 meters is a nice daytime band for coast to coast... in my case Gulf Coast to n.e. Atlantic coast and West Coast.

 I hear Europe very well in the morning and worked some ssb stations so if anyone out there on the list is in Europe, try some CQing up around 21.400 through 21.450 (w/ 21.425 through 21.440 more common)
