i take the audio from the receiver and feed it through a mixer before
it goes to the audio amps and speakers. Each channel on the mixer has
a crude equalizer--pots for low mid and high frequencies.
The all audio below 200 Hz stations are made intelligible by my
turning the low freq. pot all the way down.
