Like Charlie said, no-one was slandering the guy; none of us were 
expressing anything more than our personal disdain based on his 
well-documented actions pushing the copyright issue.

If he had started out by producing high quality scans and photocopies, 
offered them for a reasonable price, advertised his services in the 
popular ham publications, and left sites like BAMA alone to offer their 
mediocre scans free of charge on line, no-one would had any reason to 
complain about his venture, and he would have probably sold more manuals 
that way.
