letter from Heathkit says the following-

In essence when this gentleman tells you that he has the exclusive
rights to reproduce and sell Vintage Heathkit Manuals he is correct.
Individuals or organizations that have been reproducing and selling
our copyrighted material without our permission are the ones in
violation of copyright laws.
