Thanks, I figured someone has done it and that it involved a lot more 
than the obvious. i wonder if older AM BC transmitters would be easier. 
The BC1T was designed to be smaller, lighter and cheaper than its 
competitors and thus it prompted Gates being called disparagingly the 
"Quincy Tin Works".
