Subject: [AMRadio] [TS ISSAC] TS ISSAC's Emergency Net Frequency --
There's probably going to be some conflict with this, but I'll point out
that 3.880 is mostly quiet these days...
The guys in North Texas, OK and Arkansas can drop down 10, for a couple
of days, just to minimalize any bickering that might occur.
Yes, I know Isaac is only a tropical storm,
yes, I know -if- it comes to land, it'll be a minimal hurricane...
but I'll also point out that there was loss of life and property when TS
Alicia came ashore and dumped untold inches of rain on the Houston metro
area.
My thought is, let these guys do what they want on 3.890. It's only a
couple of days, and who knows... the potential life saved -could- be
someone you know.
Hey... it -could- happen!
The -last- thing, as an Amateur, we want to have happen is someone is
denied help because of a conflict of interest over a specific frequency.
We're better than that.
Regards,
-Geoff
