OK Bill-
Thank you for the kind reply. I a not sure if I follow you here- the FS-23
is a plate modulated AM-only rig, using a 12BH7A to modulate a 6BQ5 final.
I don't believe I am increasing the load on any part of the unit by just
changing the freq of operation.

Sounds like a fun project Byron....Don't know if the components in the final RF
amplifier will take the stress of 100% modulation, but you could unload it down
to 1/4th the normal input if you run into any problems. de Bill-w7kxb/7. .
