this may not be suitable for your mailing list, am sure you will decide.

Hello from down under, here in South Australia. A group of 3 of us are 
attempting to restore an old boatanchor - an AWA 500W AM HF transmitter 
that saw long service in air traffic controller  passing instructions to 
aircraft in the days when piston engined props were king.
Unfortunately it is missing 4 tubes of the type 810. Does anyone know 
where these are obtainable without paying silly prices as we are 
volunteers working on a minimal budget?
Maybe one day we will make a contact stateside on AM!
