Hi Guys,

I posted my QSL "get well card" to Bill at the village post office here mere minutes before I heard about his passing-away...

What a shame my card of good wishes became a card of condolences like that, literally in a heart beat.

My memories of him inspired me to-day to fire-up the Drake Twins & to call CQ on AM up in the top of 40-meters...and I haven't done that in a LONG time. Back in the good ol' days, you could always count on Ashtabula Bill to come back to you, even on a seemingly dead band.

Sure brought back some good memories of our "...resident curmudgeon"!       : >)
