[AMRadio] 10M AM Frequencies

Hi Gary,
I got the schematic for the HB filter from a former Heath engineer, who relayed it to me on-line---I'll have to see if I might still have it someplace, though (I built it some years ago)...!
It was based upon the extra-wide AM filter that Heath used in their SWL "SB" receiver---the SB-310...? Much better than the restricted AM filter that was optional for the '301.
Anyway, I used an old Heath SSB filter (the large size one) for the new filter's foundation, & simply replaced the crystals in it with the ones specified on the original specs. I then re-sealed the case with solder, & mounted it below the chassis because the larger physical size wasn't compatible with the mounting holes in the '301 (if I'd had an SB-300, it would have been perfect).
The crystals were purchased from JAN Crystals in Fort Meyers---the final cost was about the same as a replacement AM filter on eBay at the time.
Have you made inquiries, or shopped around for an SB-310 SWL AM filter...? I haven't bothered to look ever since I made my own here, but they DID show up fairly regularly on eBay at the time...
