I guess everyone has an Ashtabula Bill story so here's mine:
My fondest, (and funniest) memory of Ashtabula Bill was about 10 years ago 
when Greg, (his
call escapes me), and I attended the Butler hamfest in western PA. Greg came
up to my truck because his got stuck in the 'tractor pull pit' and I was
sitting next to Bill's mobile home. He invited both of us in for a beer.
That was at 9:30PM. Greg and I staggered out of Bill's mobile shack at 
around
1:45AM, 3 sheets to the wind. Bill had a big 'shit-eatin-grin' on his face 
as he watched us as
we wondered about the fair grounds.
