You are probably looking for Dielectric Grease. We use it on our sailboat
trailer connections. I found this link to where you can get it at the retail
level.

That is what prompted me to look about for the Dow Corning product. At the
local auto parts store they sell what the call bulb grease. I purchased a
packet some time back for a connector that I installed on my
trailer and there was just enough for that one connector. It is in a
small packet like those sent with antennas. There is no identification of
what is contained in the packet so I decided to look for the DC 4
alternative. Not only that but they charge a lot of money for the small
packets.
I am guessing it is the same thing, but no one could tell me and I did not
want to contaminate the connector should it not be compatible.
