[AMRadio] Bob Peters / W1PE

[W5AMI]

A lot of you knew Bob / W1PE who became a silent key in July.  He donated a
new PA Amp to the Queen Wilhelmina Hamfest Association (QWHA) back in
January since the one we had got zapped by lightning the year before.  I
called Bob right away to see what a new one would cost us, and he just said
nothing!  He sent the 200W amp, 70v xfmrs, and even paid for the shipping.
 Bob always wanted to make the "Mena Hamfest", but due to physical problems,
he never could.  He was a gracious human being, and I will mess him greatly.
 Here is a link to a photo of a plaque we made in his memory, affixed to the
PA amp he gave us.
