[AMRadio] Belfast Ireland from Georgia on 25 watts from a ricebox -- 29.040 Mhz.

I just worked GI3DZE (Belfast Ireland) on 25 watts from a ricebox (FT-450)
at 11:00 a.m. this morning. He is still on the air if you want to try. This
10 meter band opening is a new experience for me. I can only image what I
could do with a proper AM station. I'm still working on getting my Viking II
on the air but in the mean time I'am getting real excited with what I can do
on 10 meters with low power AM. It is nice to hear a mostly quiet band at 29
MHZ and above. The AM operators are such a polite bunch.

TI8II in Costa Rica is calling CQ on 29.100 right now. I just worked him
with 25 watts from a ricebox. (TS 450).

It is sure nice to enjoy the current 10 meter band opening.
