if you have too much voltage it is not because of the 866 replacement! they
only drop about 15 volts, you should know that. If you now have 2500
instead of 1500, you either removed the choke or it is shorted, turning the
filter into capacitor input instead of choke input. You did not install
the diodes as a bridge, did you? Bernie
