or don't clean up previous, non-relavent text.  Every message in the AM 
Reflector is archived for later search.  Some threads contain very 
helpful and pertinant information.  When someone top-posts and neglects 
to remove previous text, it makes searching the archives quite 
difficult.  That, and every message has the message group footer, with a 
bunch of links.  They don't need to be quoted, either.

Here's a good primer on what would -really- make this a clean and easy 
to read/search mailing list.
