I like my G stand with the HC5 element. and I spent no money Trashed a Heil stem mic.

My suggestion would be to obtain a Shure 444.
You would most likely be just as happy, or perhaps happier.
I've gone to Shure mics since I became licensed in 1980.
I've got a couple of 444s and also a 737.
Much better response curves. Match the natural human voice, unless one
should happen to be "Pee Wee Herman".
