Hi Guys,
My system for launching lines into trees is to take a golf ball and
drill a hole through it on the drill press. Then, thread 30lb test
fishing line through the golf ball
and use a tennis racket to whack the golf ball over the tree. Use the
fishing line to haul the dacron rope over the tree and away I go. As a
result I have a few
golf balls suspended permanently in the tree. By the way, not the first
or last golf balls I've lost in the trees. (at least I can still see these).

On a parallel note, A few months ago, my neighbor from down the street
knocked on my door. I answered and said, " Hi Rich, what's up?"
He said, " My wife and I noticed that your antenna hasn't changed in a
week or so, I thought I should come down and check on you and make sure
you are OK. "

73,

Bob K6GGO
