It's been about 40 years since I was on AM with any regularity (i.e. 
other than once or twice in a year switching my rice box to AM to 
call someone who was on that mode), but as I recall it, long 
monologues on AM were pretty much the norm back then... guess that 
hasn't changed.

Going through the finishing touches of getting my DX-100B / HQ-180A 
on the air, need to go hit the local Radio Shaft today for some 
last-minute parts and then I'll be joining you...
