Mine is not exactly QRP. The Broadcast Industry is where I originally came from to Ham Radio and the Suggested 6146 or TV Sweep Tube didn't seem like it would have enough "Oomph" to knock these Buzzards out of the sky, so I built my SBE around a 4-1000A Final with the Modulation circuit stolen right out of a BTA-1R1.

A friend said he heard me in Iowa on mine, but I sounded better when he listened in the FM Mode rather than the AM Mode. LOL

There is no limitation to the fidelity of AM radio. From a mathematical standpoint, AM does better in frequency response than FM. - Leonard Kahn
