Hi Guys,
I don't get into these Forays often I'm Proud of everybody and your accomplishments
I'm quite Happy being a Plain old General..I always was...There is nothing up there I need
I would have liked to attempt the Code though...no big deal..I'm still happy building and
Testing even my 10 meter rigs I come up with..I finished the Small wonders rig 2 and it
functions as it should I think I'll give to one of the new guys at the club....:-)
I like building things...:-)

Get over it? What is wrong with the _pride_ of having passed the old
advanced or extra?? Just what? What is wrong with the fact some know CW,
and are good at it. I don't think I've seen anyone on here mention
anything about being better or worse than anyone else because of the
testing. It's not about the individual ham, new or old, the discussion is
about how we have been forced to accept certain changes over the years.
I have, in reality, heard more new hams complain like you about the so
called "old timer" hams than I have the other way around. Is it a
confidence thing? Jealousy? Just what is it? Like you said, enjoy the
hobby and leave the "new ham - old ham" thing alone. My pride is mine, I
earned what I worked for and no one is going to take that away from me, nor
tell me NOT to display my pride or work when I so choose!
