AM smoked:

The ice cube relay in my Bliss Matchmaster (it switched the capacitor
between input and output

My Vectronics low pass filter which I never replaced because of
digital TV so I pulled the ceramic caps out of it and tossed it

My MFJ balanced feedline cross needle RF amp meter (actually it did
not smoke it but it did heat it up so that was a close call).

What else.  The Ten Tec tuner I had did not like AM on 160 m. so I
made something more robust.

A 300 w. 20 minute transmission on 160 will help separate the good
stuff from the cheap SSB grade junk.
