Hi Rick,
803, 810, 833, HF300, T200, 450TH, 450TL, 6C21 are cool RF tubes.
813, 304TH, 304TL are popular, but not my favorite.
872A, 8008, 673, 866A are MV rectifiers, way cool with the requisite glow.
4B32 and 3B28 are Xenon tubes, tough & socket compatible, but not much
glowing going on there.
All were mentioned on the basis of 'look', and the fact they ruled roost
for a long time back then. Fab skills & correct circuit selection are
necessary to make them fly today. Not to mention being able to source all
the necessary stuff. Hoarders are your best bet...
I won't build anything without using the above mentioned tubes.
None of the above are available at Digikey, Mouser, or RF Parts. LOL.
