Don't remember that one.  Parts of 71 were kind of a blur.
 
Sounds like going to DEFCON 2 in the late 60's due to a radar propagation freak occurrence.  Of course, that one never made it past NORAD to get public.  Sure was interesting in ARADCOM for a short time;  missles on the launch rails, radars up, and waiting for targets to be passed.  I heard that we went to DEFCON 1 for a very short time, but never did verify that.  There are some things your learned not to ask mutiple questions about.
