Hey, good going, Jim.  It wasn't a very good antenna day here, and I suspect 
it was windy at your house too!!!  I applaud your persistence.

My day was spent listening/talking on 10m AM as well while I worked on 
projects in the shack, watched OU win in football, etc.  Fantastic, long 
chat with G3UUR, Dave then later excellent contacts with W6FEI, W7NO and 
others.  10M AM with a good, directional antenna is the most fun I've had in 
years too and has given me new motivation to get these boatanchors going and 
on the air!!!
