Diet Pepsi works wonders on chrome. I took a sorry excuse for a D-104 stand and using Diet Pepsi (you don't want the sugars, maybe Coke Zero would be better) soaked a towel and scrubbed all the pitting and rust away. Following up with some Mother's Mag and Chrome shine and this baby is BETTER than new!
Not sure how it would fare on a chassis though. Maybe try some on trashed chassis first!

FWIW....Cola contains phosphoric acid, so I wonder how one of the Cola drinks would work on some projects? The item being treated may clean up with less effort since it wouldn't form a gel. Price wise, compared to Naval Jelly, you would get much more volume for the buck however, not sure about the difference in acid concentration between the two.JMTCWCarry-onBill-w7kxb
