[AMRadio] Real life CW need

John,  W4AWM had a little vignette about a wreck and communicating without a working audio device.  A less dramatic version of this happened a week ago on our 6 meter AM net.  A fellow tried to break in several times with out success, he had a great carrier but no audio. After several attempt to offer solutions, i.e., wiggle the mic cord, check you audio gain pot, etc., finally we asked him to ID with his mic CW style.  He was unable, when asked, to key his call with his mic.  Perhaps, like the old Radio Shack Space Command walkie talkies my kids had years ago, mics should be imprinted with the International Morse Code on their backs.
