[AMRadio] 29.050 AM

I quickly abandoned the "calling frequency" concept. In the beginning of October I tried that. I would sit on 29.000 and call CQ and then I was greeted by a cacophony of heterodynes.

I find somewhere around 29.050 give or take a few 10 kc's that's clear and call CQ. I suggest sweeping through 29.000 and 29.100 occasionally. It's been far more productive and civil.

I have been listening different directions on 29.000 all afternoon, but not calling much. I've been working on some things in the shack, hoping someone would show up on the calling frequency. No joy. 73, Don, WB5HAK ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Post: AMRadio at mailman.qth.net To unsubscribe, send an email to amradio-request at mailman.qth.net with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
