[AMRadio] Switching ladder line...

What you need is an aerial exchange

Here's a plan view of one that handles 7 transmitters and 11 aerials (antennas). It's rated at 500 kW so should handle your BC-610's unless you've got a terrible mis-match somewhere.

You can almost make me out polishing the contacts with crocus cloth.

(n.b. the word "aerial" was first coined by an American in the early days of radio - if anyone can tell me his name I'd be obliged)

Subject: [AMRadio] Switching ladder line...

I'm looking for suggestions on how to switch ladder line between three or four different rigs without having to unhook it. I would like a configuration similar to a four pole coax antenna switch, but using ladder line. I've thought of using knife switches, but would like to hear how others have accomplished this. I'd like to run ladder line directly to each balanced tuner of each rig. Is anyone doing this and if so, how?

Thanks,

Rick/K5IAR
