[AMRadio] Switching ladder line...

The way my shack is set up I have an antenna matching device for each
station. The transmitters/transceivers are too far apart to physically reach
just one tuner for them all. If I can locate a rotary/wafer switch that will
accommodate the output of the Bauer 707 and BC-610's I would like to go that
route. The relay system would also work very well.

If you were only going to use the feedline on two rigs,  I'd use a knife
switch.  (I find them at swap meets from time to time).  However, if you are
going to use this on more then two rigs, using a multi gang rotary switch is
the way to go.  Vacuum relays are just too expensive if you need a bunch of
them.

I am a little confused about your request.  In my shack I have open wire
line going to my Johnson Matchbox.  From there it goes to a multi position
Delta Coax Switch.  This switch then feeds the rigs.  If you have may rigs,
use more then just one Delta coax Switch.  I don't understand why you would
transfer open wire line to different rigs.  I transfer the coax input to the
tuner to different 50 ohm unbalance outputs to my different rigs.  I don't
have any open wire balanced output transmitters.  They are all 50 ohm
unbalanced rigs.
