[AMRadio] FCC cites Jammers

Our AM group that meets on 3816 on Sunday afternoon and Tuesday mornings is always barraged with some intentional unmodulated opinions.  Last Sunday I was amazed, guess I shouldn't be though, somebody was tuning up, swishing his VFO back and forth, and putting a little low level SSB audio out that was not copyable.  I checked up and down the band 150KC, not a signal to be found except us at 3 in the afternoon. It wasn't a matter of finding a clear spot to tune up.  I don't think the FCC wastes much manpower observing the hambands unless the offending station is really stupid and consistent.  But the abuse any AM'er has to endure ought to be cause for some official observations.
