Not to be catty, but doesn't that describe Pulse Width Modulation? Key down
longer for wider pulses?

Subject: [AMRadio] AM power
Hi all:
This thread has been an interesting visit to the world of perception and
psychology. Does anyone have any information regarding the modulation
technique, that when applied to the STRAIGHT KEY, simulates the human or
chimpanzee voice? Novel idea to make use of the CW band space using a 1KW
carrier to convey audio. Probably need a redesign of the key click filter
though ayh. I think ayh is a colloquial for what do you think. Thought a
new idea would bring a breath of fresh air to the thread. Seems I had a
short circuit or cranial RF burn following this most interesting thread.
Kindest regards and a happy fathers day Jim K9AXN
