My understanding was that the AMI was the sponsor of the activity but I haven;t
heard anything from them in the last couple years that I've subscribed to ER.
I've been having my fun with the AWA group on 80M phone in the mornings on Mon,
Wed & Fri.

I believe it is this weekend, Bill. I just did a quick Google Search
for Vintage Field Day, and came across a posting by Jerry/K5AXN who
usually goes to his property in Cibolo, TX, sets up a Valian, a Viking
II and various receivers under a canopy of shade from a LARGE Pecan
tree, along the banks of the Cibolo Creek.

This is something Jerry's been doing for a number of years, now. I'm
afraid Jerry doesn't have much time left to do these types of things.
He and his wife are generous, sweet souls, the type of humans we all
know we -should- be.

-Geoff/W5OMR
