[AMRadio] Vintage Field Day

Livingston Amateur Radio Society, in Livingston Parish Louisiana will have a 
vintage AM station on the air on Saturday afternoon and evening, June 25 and 
Sunday morning, 26, 2011. The Club's call sign is W5LRS

and we will be looking for other AM Stations. Operation will be on additional 
modes and other rigs on different bands..

Operation on AM is planned for the 75 meter band from 3.885 down depending on 
QRM. AM operation on 40 meters will be on or around 7.160 depending on QRM. Look 
for W5LRS on Field Day. 73, John, K5PGW

I've just been reading thru a stack of early 2000's Electric Radio Magazines and 

ran across mention of Vintage Field Day that seemed to be run just before the 
normal Field Day.

Is this activity still done and is it on for this weekend?  It sounds like it 
was a lot of fun.
