[AMRadio] Broadcast Processors

I have heard anecdotally, from more than one CE and BCE - (including the
gentleman from whom my BTA-500MX came) - that in the early days of Hip-Hop
and Rap - with the emphasis on relative loudness and low-end 'thump' -
many faithful modulation transformers died in the crossfire between
Program Directors and the Laws of Physics.

The one in my rig is the original 1957 RCA, as is the Mod Reactor - but
the power tranny is a Dahl. It came from a more rural/agricultural market,
so it sidestepped the Urban Sound, and was taken out of service in the
early 80s anyway.

Now it's safe in my garage, and I promise to keep the under-40 htz
excursions to a minimum during QSOs on 75!

Cheers
