You're sure about that?

What if you've been doing the 10 and 6M Es thing since 1950, and every time 
you make such a contact some newby tries to explain how to do it, and what 
an enormous achievement it is.

And then they spot the contact on a DX site!

Take a look at the 10M section of DX Watch (DX).  You'd be hard pressed to 
find any DX!  Lots of 4s working 4s.  Maybe a SA station once in awhile.

I have 4 X 7 elements on a 30' X 30' H-frame, with full elevation, and a HB 
8877 amp on 6M.  Four elements on 10M wiith a large HB amp.

I don't consider a domestic Es contact to be an enormous achievement. 
Certainly nothing to spot.

And now we have big amplifiers in the hands of "small children at play", 
where "all knobs go to the right, right?"

I've many times seen 20 to 40 KC each side of one of these vandals that was 
filled with splatter.

6M used to be the other gentlemens band.  No more.

Other than EME, I no longer operate on that band.  I also stay away from 
10M.
