I don't have an 80M transmitting antenna. But I do have a 40M transmitting
antenna and I have worked a local friend here on 7195 with my DX-60.
But there seems to be a general lack of interest in AM in the Seattle area.
I do listen to the noise on 3870 and 3885. The NW AM group only operates on
3870 in the late afternoon between 3PM and 6PM.
In the mornings I can sometimes hear the So. Cal. group on 3885 but they are
too far down in the noise to enjoy.
