[AMRadio] 6 Meter Band Open Calling on 50.4 MHz AM

We have a net that meets on 50.4 AM and has so for many years now.  It's at 8PM EST/DST time on Tuesday in NC/SC.  In the years we have met, the band has opened up perhaps 5 times.  We'll work the DX or move off to 50.410.  Having a net on a calling freq. on HF is one thing, but seems to me, having a net on the calling freq on VHF is sort of a beacon.  Was on 50.125 one time when the band opened and a fellow in Nova Scotia was in a local QSO.  As I and others  patiently waited for him to end his QSO, thinking he was going to work some DX, he told the other station he was going QRT because the darn QRM from all the DX made copy difficult.  At least he got off of that SSB calling freq.
